Komodo National Park
The island is famous for being the natural habitat of the Komodo dragon, the world’s largest lizard. The Komodo National Park, which includes Komodo Island, was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site to protect the unique flora and fauna, including the Komodo dragon.
